Samarium cobalt magnets can be categorized into sinter kind and bonding kind. The company only supplies sinter samarium cobalt magnets with the grades of SmCo5 and Sm2Co17. Samarium cobalt magnets have weaker magnetism than NdFeB magnets and stronger magnetism than ferrites and AlNiCo magnets, and are the most expensive among the four kinds. They also have stable magnetic property and strong corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.
Samarium cobalt magnets mainly refer to high-performance samarium cobalt 1:5 permanent magnet and samarium cobalt 2:17 permanent magnet which are made by mixing samarium, cobalt, ferrum and other trace elements. Their highest working temperature can reach 300°C and their fusion temperature can reach 1,300 DEG C. With strong corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, they generally do not need coating protection. As very fragile products, they should be taken and placed carefully when being packaged.
